Nadania Idriss

Nadania Idriss is the founder and managing director of Berlin Glas e.V. and Berlin Glassworks GmbH. She was born in Berkeley, California and studied medieval art and architecture in the Middle East. She worked at the British Museum in London, then moved to Paris in 1999 to work at UNESCO. In 2005, she moved to Berlin. Nadania has always volunteered in youth clubs and museums as she enjoys working with communities. Opening Berlin Glas was a culmination of everything she considers her purpose. Berlin Glas e.V. and Berlin Glassworks provide artist collaborations, classes for the general public, programs with youth and migrant communities, artist residencies, bilateral exchanges with international universities, and teaching sculpture at the art academies in Berlin.

As part of the DIGITAL CAMPUS programme she will be leading two workshops Starting Your Studio in Berlin and Bookkeeping for Artist Studios
